HL Battery life etc,

Post by V4EVER »

I finailly got a tank (yah) I bought it used and everything in the box (i think) from my local hobby dealer, its the older Henglong Panther, the ugly looking one. My dad wanted it to convert it to a Jadgpanther, it looks like he can, anyway I am having a difficult time finding any information about charging the battery, how long it lasts, its the typical 1700 Mah. I'll post pics when he gets around to its transformation to a Jagd. Thanks for any info :)

The 1700mAh battery takes 4 and 1/4 hours to charge with the heng long charger. But the charger is poor quality and someones caught fire, so I would recommend getting another one. I got a simply braded one for £8 with 1A output and auto turn off so that chargers the HL battery in 1 and 3/4 hour.

As for tank run time I get about 40 minutes with out using the smoker and thats running on grass which is harder for it. If you have metal tracks which increase weight run time will also be lower.

Hope that is of some use.

I bought from emodels (online) but don't appear to have it any more.

I see if I can find it elsewhere for you.
