I'm pleased to find this place and you folks

Post by Stug-Pete »

Hello, I'm a newbie here and a newbie to RC tanks - I havent done any serious modelling in decades because I've not had much time in between work and family, I'm a young Grandad and I am finding some time for myself again. My big hope here is to learn enough to get myself started without too many problems :{ because I'm the slow lad at the back of the class when it comes to electronics.

I have been reading about the Eastern Front 1941-45 for many years 8| and am seriously interested in the operational history of the Stug III.

No surprises then I am keen to buy a ready to roll 1/16 Stug III  which I could make a start with, maybe upgrade a tad or add a few accesories and learn to drive 8) .

Hello PeteS,

Welcome mate, I have just been parts gathering for a Stug III build for later in the year. I think these are quite popular now and some aftermarket goodies are becoming more readily available. Profiline do a cracking conversion for early and late models so i'm tempted to procure one of these as a good starting base for the build. Any probs mate and just ask, All here are excellent people and will help as much as possible.

Cheers,

Ace
