Hi and welcome Hobbit.

If you install the anti recoil kit you should be able to drive and fire at same time.

It works like this. When you fire it sends a signal to the RX18 to activate the fire sound and track recoil action. The anti track recoil will then at the same time disconnect power to the motors and the RX18 will still try to power motors to do the silly track recoil but as there disconnected it wont. Then a few milliseconds later the anti track recoil reconnects power to the motors as before.

An alternative to the antitrack recoil device is to install two RX18 (will fit the Tiger no problem) one powers everything but the gearbox and the other powers just the gearboxes. And basically you share the power lead and receiver lead between them. I found this easier (no risky soldering on the circuit board) and cheaper as the RX18 with leads was £20 This is what I did with my Tiger.

Hoep that helps.

Ian.

Thanks Everyone!
Right before I read your welcoming replies I ordered the: ATRC MKI Anti Track Recoil Circuit (rctaatrc) from RC tanks australia.
I will let you know how it works out.
Once that is complete my next task will be to try and figure out if I can install a turret recoil unit concurrently with the airsoft BB gun!
