Controler settings

Post by Silverstalker »

Hello, My orignal controler started smoking and burnt out a part of the circuit board??? :eh: (one of the copper strips. not a componant) any thoughts??

anyway I bought what is listed as a 'new unused' one off ebay as there always seems to be 'alot' of broken down henglong tanks on ebay all unused??

so I put batterys in new controler...NO red light >:< but it still works all buttons do what they ment to do, but the forward trim tab has to be set fully forward as if its in the middle the the tank moves backwards all by its self??

  dunno??

LED shouldn't be a problem only indicates battery is ok, I've found my controller still controls tank long after the LED can no longer light up.

As for the throttle trim I had simular on one controller, I opened it up and pair of long nose pliers on the potentialometer held the throttle stick with other hand and twisted pliers up or down (oppersite to problem) and this adjusted it enough to resolve the problem.

Hope that helps.
