I bought this gorgeous static as a pre order way back. I found it in the stash and now with my renewed RC interest, I want to get this baby on the road if possible. Back when I first got it, I thought the only option was adapting a Tamiya Tiger or Sherman (only ones out then) which was a bit pricey of an idea, even before working out tracks.
Now it seems I've missed the HL boat on a T-34 and all my searching online I can only find piecing together Elmod or Mato guttywuts. I've got no problem with doing that, but cost-wise it pushes the project back to the shelf for a while.
Is that the best way, or is there other options?

doing the 75mm turret is going to be tough, no room for the elevation and recoil....maybe a stug unit?

Re: Trumpy T-34/76
Thanks mustclime.
I didn't see those two, but they use systems that are no longer available (HL and WSN) or at least that I can't find for sale. Or expensive in the case of the Pershing setup. I have a HL IR Stug G due on Monday, I guess I'll see what I can make of that system and if it looks doable, I'll grab another or get parts, etc as possible.
I just keep running up against things that are no longer available, not just the kit, but things like Daryls Aluminum suspension arms which are used in builds everywhere, but no active links to buy.
I wonder why, I think of the T-34 as an iconic Russian AFV, more so than the KV-1s and 2s, but they seem underrepresented in the RC realm.

Re: Trumpy T-34/76
Thanks again,
I've been on Matomart, they are out of the T-34/85 and the KV I was looking at. I was going to pull the trigger on a Pz III with metal tracks for $150, figuring I could use the works in the '76 and the tracks on the StuG, but shipping added another $40, so I took a minute to look around again.
I found a place in the States that sells HL pretty cheap. KV-1s were $75 (no smoke or sound) and they had a smoke and sound BB Panther and Pz III for $88.
So I grabbed a Panther for now and will get the IR and other upgrades from Mato when I sort it all out.
