12volt key FOB battery

Post by Se7eN »

Just a quick question really, could I substitute my 8xAA batteries in my TX for a 12volt car key FOB battery?

This would be a cheaper alternative to buying loads of batteries.

I would imagine it would go flat in no time at all.

I put a deans socket in my controller and put in 8 AA rechargables so I can recharge with out having to take them out.

Yeah I know rechargables don't seem to last two minutes compared regular. Think might be due to the lower voltage, if I get chance I intend to try putting 10 rechargeable batteries in to give me the full 12v and see if that works better.
