Just a quick one here. Swaped out the WSN electronics for a HL RX 14 board and reciver. Took a couple of hours overall to remove all the WSN stuff and replace with the HL gear. After removing all the WSN electronics cut out all the board mounting points in the hull. Attached these to the new RX 14 board using the original screws. Then simpley superglued the board back into the front of the tank. Reciver board is just in it's rough fit position. The plan for that is to lock it into place using self adesive velcro straps. Scrounged some elecrical connectors from work and glued these in place along the top of the plastic track overhang. The electrical connections took a little working out but the picture shows whre it all went. The connection block is numbered 1 to 8 in the same sequence as the HL connectons. Volume control switch will be attached to the plastic track overhang . After a bit of messing about with a reversed motor connectin and a faulty transmitter got it running like a good one. Just have to work out the barrel recoil system and see if I want to add lights and that should be it ( for now anyway ). All the best for now
Alan
PS Opened up the plastic grills on the rear of the tank and replaced with brass mesh for air circulation.

Nice Tankman!
You beat me too it, and it looks like you did a clean job, the back grills are a nice touch! Hopefully I am going to be upgrading my winter T-34 over the Christmas break!!

how did you open the T34/85 because I bought one of Panzershreck and the controls for steering the tank a bit strange to keep it polite and I was going to go down the replace WSN electronics with HL gear route

Re: WSN T 34/85 electronics swap
There's 4 screws on the bottom (they are the recessed ones) and 1 on the top next to the antenne. The rest of them just hold the suspension in place, best not to loosen those...
Are we all doing T34's over christmas? I've a DBCRC2 on order for my green /85, a DBC for my white /85 and a gun elevation motor and DBU wiring harness to shoe horn into my /76

I am not going to do the T34 until the new year also I have not got the parts yet, also the motor wires were crossed over so that the left stick controlled the right track and the right stick the left track, no wonder that the steering was strange
