Which Futaba Radio is better for Tamiya tank ?

Which Futaba Radio is better for Tamiya tank ?

Hi guys,

I'm looking at these two Futaba 4-channel Radio System. Could
you tell me which one is better to control Tamiya tanks ?

Futaba 2.4GHz FHSS Futaba 4YF 4-Channel Radio System
Futaba 4YF 4-Channel FM Radio System with the R168DF Receiver and four S3004 Ball Bearing Servos

Hi,
The Futaba 4YF is an old favorite of mine, I have a few of them now, and the FM system is still OK ( you don't need the servos BTW)
But the way forward is deffinately the 2.4GHz systems.
The only thing I would say in favour of the 4YF is, if it still has manual trim adjustment sliders, it makes it a bit easier to control some of the Tamiya tank functions. But that said, I am running Tamiya tanks with Futaba 2.4GHz radios that have digital trim settings.
