HELP PLEASE

Can somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong, I don't seam to be able to send pm's any more !
The last few I have tried to send all seam to go as they should but they are not appearing in my sent box
and I am not getting any replies! has anybody got any ideas apart from nobody like's me. LOL

I don't think they work when I send PM's either...I have often wondered why
Might be a site bug or something.

I think they only seem to show up after the person you have sent the message to, reads the message.

It could be that but they used to show as sent within a few minuets, the problem is that I am not that great
with computers and I am always a bit reluctant to mess about trying different things like settings in case
I mess it up.

You can only store 200 messages. Check out if you received this quantity

when you send a message it stays in your outbox until the recipient reads the message, then it goes into your sent box
if you delete a message in your outbox then the recipient will not be able to read the message as they haven't read it before.
try sending me a pm and i will see if i receive it

If you type the Username in the box yourself instead of using the search (Find a member), when you hit Submit it will actually preview your PM and add the username in properly as if you used the search, you then need to hit Submit again for the PM to be sent, you will then be redirected to a confirmation screen showing that the PM was sent. I've made the mistake of typing the username manually, hitting Submit and thinking it sent when it was only previewing it, it's easier to use the "Find a member" button really

Ok guy's I have tried all the of the above but I am still showing no messages in my out box, I know it must
be something really simple that I am doing wrong but I just can't see it

I've had same problem (on another forum). Using Firefox for some reason when I used the search it openned another window and although appeared to work didn't send. But if I clicked the PM buttom next to the user in a topic or reply to a PM it would work.
