Am I doing something wrong?

Kind folks, I figure some of you might be interested in my plight. The seller later changed it to cover his tracks after I emailed him. However, when this happens there is a link you can click on to review the ad's appearance at the time of your purchase. In this ad that I bought from, it does not mention sound or upgrades, but it specifically mentions the smoke generator and smoke oil. Simply put, I did order the right thing. He just sent the wrong thing and now wants me to go away. It won't happen. For those of you curious as to his identity, the name of the store on ebay is "shoprshop". With shipping his was the lowest, but it will be the last time he gets my dime.

I take it you will pursuing your claim via ebay and paypal ? I know I would and I'm sure they will help you out. You might end up being out of pocket for the return shipping (which has to be a tracked service) which is far from ideal but I wouldn't just let him get away with it. Keep us posted.

It absolutely is. Everyone makes a mistake from time to time but if they can't own up to it and put things right then they don't deserve to be trading.
I have to say - I've found this forum to be a superb resource, especially the trusted dealer bit and the hall of shame too - people power rocks and nothing is better than personal recommendations from established members on here - likewise all of the toe rags deserve to have their details recorded in the hall of shame for future reference!
