Hey Mate,
I have 3 Forces of Valour and 2 Vs tanks, the Vs tanks look great both types are ok and the sound is pretty average for both, well crap really but you cant expect too much I suppose. They are fun cause you dont need much room to play but once you start with them they wont be enough and you will end up buy 1/16 scale in the end.
Cheers Ken

Hi Ian,
I've already checked out the wanted and for sale section. No luck
I don't get paid until the end of the month, so anything that is available now will be gone by then.
I did find these two that I liked the look of, but they are BB

Most of the Ready to go IR tanks that I see are VS. I did spot this one that I liked...
http://www.welshdragonmodels.co.uk/torr ... 1676-p.asp but says it's not compatible with Heng Long, which may cause problems if I hold a meet up. I am guessing that most people have compatible Heng Long battle units.
Thanks for the video link, Ian. Much appreciated. I wish I could find the youtube one I spotted the other week. Sounded like a real tank, the best yet that i've heard.
BTW, can you program your own sounds into it ? eg, a cat meowing ?
@Ken
Thank you for the info on Forces of Valour and Vs tanks. I really appreciate that. There is so little un-biased info on them. A lot of PR on their site, but you take that with a pinch of salt. And for images, that can be misleading on websites, but they do look good, esp for the money.
I've got till the end of the month to make my mind up. I estimate that I can afford £150 tops on one, maybe a little more. I can always live on air for the rest of the month.

Hi Paul,
I wouldn't get too hung up on the IR as 90% of the time you most likely be playing alone in your back garden. And when it comes to IR at meets the heng long isn't commonly accepted (Tamiya system is).
The T34 is a great little tank, got one myself and to say it has quite small motors compared to the heng long etc I find it quick and nibble even on the grass compared to my heng long tanks. But it doesn't come with a rechargeable battery pack so you'll have to factor in 8 AA size rechargable (I use Duracell 2650mAh ones at it last for ages
)
