Just bought Panther

Hi all ive just bought a SQS Panther on ebay or 34 quid with the intention of letting my son run riot with it ,(allowing me to play with my Tiger without him hogging it)
It is essentially the Heng Long BB version which I know nothing about. So there are several questions id like answers for.
It has a broken track so will need new ones (it was advertised as broken, when it arrives i may be able to fix it) Which Panther tracks would be best as a replacement.

Its got a snapped barrel but i want to put a recoil unit in it anyway so which barrel to get?.

Which control unit would be best for it as I assume ill need to change it if im changing to recoil, also id like him to be able to battle it as he's a ruthlessly vicious little bugger, As those at Manchester noticed when he kept knocking out dad s Tiger with a borrowed T34 *** Eternal thanks Tankbear for letting him borrow it hes well and trully converted now***
My fav bit now. What mods need to be done to the shell to make it right (Hengs tiger turrets needed to be moved etc) Im really really anally retentive when it comes to mods so come on pile it on

I remember him not enjoying it too much when kept getting blown up

But I am planning to convert my T34 to HL electronics at some point, so if you want you can have the T34 electronics and IR bits if I can get out without smashing them. So you can battle with your Tiger.

Thx Ian im getting the slu for the Tiger so it will work on both tamiya and heng long systems ill have to convert the half track at some point

Lucky man getting a SLU unit. Looks like everyone is getting something new following the last meet, you an SLU, Gary & Mark Shermans. I feel left out a bit now.

By the way the SLU isn't compactable with the HL only Tamiya. But i've a couple of Mako boards for my HL's so will make them compactable with both Tamiya and SLU.

Is it a Panther G or is it the old pantiger if its the older one it takes the same tracks as the Tiger 1 if it is S&S you will need a RX18 main board before you fit a heng long recoil.
