Your attention to detail is stunning. I can't wait to see the finished article. I don't want to risk hijacking this fantastic build thread but I'd love to know how you weathered the tracks?
Like I said I can hardly wait for your next post.

Hi there I'm realy glad you like the build so far!! .I'm having to build it faster than I would like as it's got to be running for this Sunday as we have the first meet at the Hyde scout hut ! So there will be some work left to do after the meet! Now the tracks on my tank are the standard heng long metal tracks! As you know there are silver to start off with! So to get rid of the silver I used a product called aluminium black! Gun smiths use it to blacken parts on guns .and when used on tank tracks it basically turns them a grey / black colour! After that I painted on revell aqua color rust/Matt number 36183 then I dry brushed on aqua color brown/Matt number 36185! Then I add tamiya xf59 desert yellow lightly dry brushing the tracks and then spreading it on the inside were the wheels would run! And that's it! Hope that helps!!

Hi Mark i made them all out of plasticard.
The fender brackets are made from square plasicard bar i just cut each one from the bar with a nife then file and dril the hole in the middle.
The cable hangers were made the same way a lot of fiddley work!!

You can get a brass photo eched kit that has all the fitment they are fiddly but the end result is good! Forgebear sells the brass voyger kits
Hope that helps you a bit!

Good to see you back Tank Man.

For anyone viewing this thread for the first time be sure to note the TWO YEAR leap on this page. Tank Man that's poor even by my standards! This was one of the builds that inspired me.

Would love to see a little more detail here, I have to say...
