I ordered a HL KV1 off of ebay The description said it came with "smoke for smoke generator". That lead me to believe that it was a SAS model. However it is not. Is this model worth upgrading? I don't know if he'll refund my money

depends how much you paid for it really, personally i wouldnt spend more than 30 quid on a non S&S model, but them i'm a tight git

If its not actually a smoke version then return it as you have not got what you bid on, if it is an early smoke version i.e. RX13 or RX14 board then you can only return it if the seller agrees.
I find you have to "read between the lines" with a lot of the adverts to actually find out which version is being offered.

Well, after opening a dispute, the seller responded and is allowing an exchange. Phew! I am excited to receive it. I'm glad ebay puts the power in the buyer's hands, otherwise I would never use it. I'll post a pic when I get it! (stock lol)

Who was the Vender? If you use Phil @ RCTANKWARS.COM for your basic off the shelf tanks you get value and a tested tank.

Worth a few more dollars to deal with a guy that checks them out,and will prevent the issues by clearly telling you what your buying. We are limited in the USA to but a few independent dealers,One man operations.

But the reason to patronize these venders are their service,and their available,you get the same guy every time you need to communicate,not a call center. Hopefully this will work out for you,99.00us seems really good with shipping included.
