Elo''

Can anyone give me a quick answer to the foll.:

Will the standard 'out of the box' engine and electronics settup from lower hull of the HL Tauchpanzer III (White box) fit straight into the AsiaTam lower metall hull?
If not what needs to be altered?

Thanks lads :)

Hello Bosshaug , I personally don't have any experience of the Pz 111 , others will be along soon , I'm sure , but stock HL gearboxes do fit Asiatam hulls ( though an extra screw would help , and plastic gearboxes won't last long ) - Otherwise things are are normally a simple swop . Have a look in the HL Pz 111 build sections , our resident Taucher owners can tell you .
to the bouncy room ! Yay !

Depends on whether your hull comes with all the wheels as well. I just bought a KV1 hull comlete with all the metal wheels, drive sprocket ect. Then found the drive sprocket needed short gearbox drive shaft (the HL was long) and then the tracks don't fit perfect in the drive sprocket. apart from that all was a straight swap.

I know on the Tiger hull you can't fit the HL roadwheels or idler eheel either as they use different axle size.

I checked when I was looking into this and you can fit the HL roadwheels by using replacement axles, Welsh dragon have them listed.
