Post by rodtoo40 »

OK here is a dumb question, What is a metal buckle small and big ?,and is it worth putting the Metal Suspension set and springs ,with the plastic road wheels/ Like I said I have a ton of questions and will be asking them over time as money permits.
Thank you for the answers.

Hi its a small or large bucket ? not buckle ??? (pale) often seen hanging of German tanks. Hi my tanks all run on metal suspension some have meat wheels some plastic. But all have metal drive sprockets and idler wheels , if Im fitting metal tracks I add the track tensioner and always check it has metal gears. Im guessing you have a HL Tiger ?

Yes, it is a HL Tiger Smoke and Sound. The tank came with the metal tracks and the metal gear boxes.I am going to upgrade them to 3 to 1 gearboxes,I already have the pro-max 400 electric motors and different pinion gears from 10t to 13t to get the scale speed.Trying to get most of the parts before I take it apart.
here is the link it is called Buckle. What is it for ? I had to change it from matomart

There for holding down the tow ropes. If the remove the plastic ones which have pins underneath to hold them in and replace with metal tow rope then you need these to hold in place (as the metal doesnt have the pins). Guess large are for the ropes on deck and small the side.
