just received one torro king tiger in "three colour camo"----works well ---buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut---i hate the paint scheme---a re-paint is needed--two colours----noooooooooooooooooooooow----should i just mask off all the openings and spray???????-----should i remove the turret and protect the electronics before spraying???????-------anyone know how to release the turret and separate same from the chassis?????---all advice taken---best wishes---hue city

Hi Hue

As with any thing you are going to paint , be it car bike etc. It will need a strip down. Other wise paint will creep in where you don't want it and be a bugger to get off.
As for taking apart etc. you will find that a smiple tool kit a few screw drivers,long nose pliers is as much as you need.

I totally stripped my Torro Tiger 1. Barrel out etc, all accesories off, most came off really cleanly. Its a must if your going to respray and it helps in getting to know your tank. Youill also be able to make good any improvements in detailing your tank that you will undoubtibly decide to do as you you start to notice the finer points of the King
