Hi Tanklover

there should be a aftermarket part that you solder on the rx-18 that disables this "feature"

Think I saw it on rctank.de som time ago

Hi TankLover,

Easiest and cheapest way I found to eliminate it, is to get another RX18 and split the power lead and receiver board lead so feeds both. Then one RX18 board just powers the gearbox motors. The other RX18 powers everything else.

Here’s a link I did it in my Tiger, pictures are at the bottom.

If you still want the tank recoil but less effect, if you fit low ratio gearboxes this will to a certain degree also reduce the effect.

Regards,

Ian.
