Speakers

Post by Chipmunk »

I've used Laptop speakers in my HL Tiger 1, although he sound quality may not be as good as some of the speakers available, on the plus side they are compact and easy to install. I've placed one on either side, on the horizontal part of the chasis above the tracks at the rear of the hull adjacent to where the engine would be. seems to work OK on the RX18 board.

Did you guys happen to record "Before and after" clips? I'd love to hear them.

I replaced my internal speaker with a driver unit out of a set of computer monitor speakers. The magnet is a lot bigger then the original one so space was very tight. But I managed to mount the speaker in a cardboard tube which I received my bottle of Gylcol in. I'm all into recycling me :D
