Panzer 1V jack

Post by supersaint »

I was a bit bored today could not do much with my new Panzer 1V until I get the money together for the metal parts etc, that I want to get. So I thought I would have ago at painting the jack. First of all I trimmed the bottom lugs off and then added some grab handles by cutting off the end of some paper clips and superglueing them on. Also I cut in between the handle to separate it a bit. Then painted it with a mix of acrylics and water paints, with some pencil marks for scratches etc. Not totally happy with it, but I will live with it for awhile. At least being water based paints I can strip it off and start again Lol!.

Regards Colin.

Thanks Oz, I was not quite sure about the steel rubbing through the paint effect, but the photos have come out OK, It looks a bit better than I first thought.
