christmas greetings to our boys in iraq & afghanistan
Re: christmas greetings to our boys in iraq & afghanistan
Great idea!!
Best wishes to all the troops serving on our behalf wherever they may be. As the famous Dave Allen used to say: "May your God go with you"
Take care guys and gals, and come home safe and well soon.

Here here, I know how hard it must be out there, as my cosuin was killed in Afghanistan in the summer, I just hope that all our boys and girls of any race or religion have a safe chritmas or whatever they celebrate. I also will be thinking of their families who we must also be proud of, for giving us such brave fighting me and women and must also miss their loved ones. Ok im not the most eloquent speaker, but I hope that turned out ok!
Happy Christmas!

alex, you dont need to be an eloquent speaker, the sentiment is what counts, and you made youre point well,
thats what matters to our boys and girls out there

Alex,
I'm sure I speak on behalf of the whole forum in expressing our condolances for your families loss.
I remain hopefull that Afganistan will return to be the country it was prior to the Soviet invasion and the subsiquent rise of extremisim.
With best Regards,
Mart

Ex_Pat_Tanker and Tiger 205, cheers lads it means a lot, Ive always been planning to join up, but my family seem more than sceptical about me joining now after Ken was killed , I want to join the armoured corp, but being an only child, it may take a bit of persuading, despite the fact that i will have a big metal box around me lol.
All the best, Alex

Hi,
It'sa pity, but I do feel that I have to say this. Firstly our guys are not giving their lives, they are having them brutally and painfully taken away from them by politicians who do not give them the support or equipment that they need to complete the job they are asked to do.
I wish every man and woman who is serving abroad, in whatever capacity the very best of Christmas wishes.
Peter

BigPanzer,
I don't have a problem with what you said - Politicians come and go, but our armed forces will always be there to protect our freedom with their lives
I hope that they all come home safe and sound.
