Hi, I'm a newbie i'm afraid!

Post by Triton »

Hello everyone, my name is Stewart aka Triton! and I live in Fife. I'm a newcomer to tanking but not modelling as I've tried my hand at Aircraft, Cars and Helo's! unfortunately I no longer have the reflexes of a Tomcat Pilot! and seeing as my lady presented me with a couple of Heng Long tanks for Xmas! time to slow down! I already have a couple of Helo's the Tanks are, a type 90 ground defense unit and my favourite, a Dak Panzer IV F1, which doesn't run! So! it's upgrade time! keep you posted!
Thank you

Welcome, I am sure once the Addiction tales root, you will love RC Tanks. Enjoy the forum, and many have slower reflexes here. So were all training for the old folks home and wheelchair driving, only with tanks instead.

Welcome Stewart,

Enjoy all the great info here. Reccomend you have a look in the build section under heng long to see what people are doing with they tanks. Also a lot of the HL parts are same across the range i.e. electronics, turret motors, etc so parts are easy to come by.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome and advice, there seems to be a genuine community spirit here for which i am grateful.
At the moment I am accumulating parts for the Panzer IV, so I will attempt to keep a photographic record once the upgrade starts as I know you all like pics.
Keep you posted
cheers
