Think Dave Forgebear is selling them, he might know on quality. But he's away until later in the week so have to wait.

Yes...just looked at that..in that listing he refers to to it being painted in some metal looking paint. That will have to be removed prior to you painting it..
Which kind of sucks having to get chemical strippers out on it.
But i do like the idea this tank is all metal, should take a good old beating in the battle feild :D

Plus with Mato making all the parts in metal means readily available to upgrade my HL tiger.

Does suck about the painting but for £325 works out cheaper than what i've spent on my metal Tiger already

Have to wait to see if they do an all metal Sherman or something.

http://www.matomart.com has them on sale for $399 Cdn, They are an all metal version sans electronics but it does come with 3to1 version 2.0 gears. Pretty good tank but it has some flaws. great base to start from though. Hatches work, metal wheels tracks etc.
nice tank actually

I think the tank is good value. It may not be the best most accurate. But the only other all metal tank is the Aero-Mate, and that sits near the £££2k ..So its a bit of you get what you pay for.
But i think compared to an all plastic shell. Its going to be stronger and have a better driving weight as well.
Would be nice to see some more pics..some of the inside of the tank would be good. To see what suspension system its using.

I would have to agree is good value. I’ve already spent that amount on my HL Tiger already and still have plastic top hull, turret and road wheels. Now if they offer a full metal I tank I don’t already have then I would seriously consider getting it.

I think there is a review of it with more photos and stuff on an American RC Tank website, just can’t remember which.
