@ Gary I am Midlands :)

@ Ian

Typical happens to me every hobby I have I pick the one thing that is now discontinued haha

What is the problem with the idler wheels? if the T34-85 is unatainable (I have tried looking with no success so far) then the KV-1 will be my next tank though I will get another at some point to put with a Tamyia KV-2 turret I got off ebay to make well a KV-2 (bet you didn't see that coming) :P

I will be buying the tigers from Tankzone ready fitted with the 3:1 metal gearboxes drive sprockets and tracks and will be modyfing the Tiger 1 to be Tiger 131 hopefully with the elmod soundboard

@ FV432 I really wish they would too would be as happy as...well a guy with a chieftain tank :P

Hi Chris,

The idle wheels on the kv are screwed onto a short plastic shaft which is fixed to the hull. It is where the shaft joins the hull which wants to seperate. It probably doesn't help that the idle wheels are proud of the body and at the front meaning it will take the full force of impact rather than the body.

Not a problem to fix if you've some modelling skills.

As Rob says still some T34 around. I wanted one for a few months, checking ebay and one came up so jumped on it.
