Hi all

Post by Se7eN »

Hey everybody

I've just got into RC tanks and it looks like I've found a good site to learn about them

I think first port of call after this message is the tutorial section. Time to get learning...
Thanks for having me 8)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys

I decided to live out a child hood "Dad can I have that..." moment and bought myself a Taigen Tiger I from nitro.co.uk.
After I opened the box and saw the size of this thing I was very very impressed :D But when I started to actually look around the tank, my smile started to drop and drop and drop :'(

The tank had a numerous problems with it, for starters fortunately I'm good at fixing things ;)

1: Right out of the box......No drive to the cats DOA RX-18 MFU (Solution was: Replacement MFU requested)
2: Gun turret would not elevate Cracked tiny PCB (On upper tank body) (Solution was: Bypassed)
3: Gears looked like hardly any grease had been applied, I'm replacing them with 3:1 system anyway so it don't matter
4: And a few other niggles and petty stuff not worth mentioning but are fix

So slowly but surely, My tank is coming together.
Were abouts are you! North or south! Gary

Should have gone to Forgebear.

No really! He would have checked all that stuff prior to sending it out to you.
