New one here

Post by rodtoo40 »

Just joined today. I use to race R/C cars a lifetime ago lol.I found R/C tanks by reading on the net and I got to say it got me going again on R/C toys. I do have this to say about this site WOW and I mean WOW.I could and I am sure I will read everything I can here. Just received a HL Tiger 1 Tank with S&S with metal upgrades for Christmas and boy did my loving Wife open a can of worms and she knew it too. I can see many upgrades down the road .Already ordered Promax 400 motors and pinion gears for it .Looking for ward a long and happy time here. By the way I have many question to ask bout my Tank .But that`s for another time

Hi there and welcome to the forum!! You will love it ! Same thing happened to me! I used to race Rc buggys in the early eighties i had a kyosho optima! And I've still got it I restored it last year and have a b44 now that I race at the same club I raced at when I was in my teens! I saw the Rc tanks on eBay when I was looking for Rc car parts ! I googled them to find out more! And that led me to here! So the other harf got me a henglong tiger! For my birthday! And I too was hooked!!! And I've moded and moded my tiger! Got the SLU battle system on the way now so I can IR battle! Were having a meet up in hyde on Feb 19 th if your near you welcome to come along ! Have fun! Gary.
