1/16th Jagtiger

Post by windpower »

Hi Guys - and a Happy new year to all !

I'm looking at building a 1/16th Jagtiger using the Tamiya K.T. running gear , WECOHE lower(correct ext'd) hull and maybe the MATORRO J.T. upper hull / superstructure parts. Question is , will I need to lengthen the matorro J.T. upper hull/ superstructure , by how much approx and more importantly where ? Looking at various pics on the web , it would appear ( if not correct already) that the high superstrusture would require extending at some relevant point ? Also does the matorro J.T. have recoil ,traverse and up/down movements please ? All comments welcome as usual.

many thanks

Hi if you extend the bottom the top will have to be extended as well by the same amount if I remember right its about 12mm but if you cut it in half at a suitable place and put it on the lower hull you will see how much exactly.
