no,make sure you turn the radio on first, then the tank. try turning on and off the smoke maker. I have found that sometimes the little motor that runs the smoker gets cought mid stroke and the extra load flips out the main board.

cheers for that, tried the smoker twice and realised that it is so noisy that it drowns own the sounds. lol have been turning the radio on first then tank. must just be mine, would be cool to hear it idle though.

try unpluging the battery, then plugging it back in,that should clear the main board.

My kids had a tank that has done just what yours is doing. Drives you mad i know.
One of 2 things here.
Transmitter (TX)
Trims move them very slowly up or down etc until you find that hard run has gone to a tick over.
If that doesn't work..try the stick just the same to see if you can remove that unwanted sound.
Last bit..the cheap oh so very cheap esc Hl use. The neutral point can be off. It was that in my kids tank. What ever position you placed the trims.Tank sound was saying, am on a chrage :haha: .

The thing to remeber is Hl electronics are cheap. So its not going to brake the bank to replace. But as in life you only get what you pay for in the way of electronics, and hand sets.
All the best on your hunt.
