Thats it - no more I can do!
My repaired Elmod board is on its way back, and tomorrow won't be soon enough!
Not a lot more I can do with the paint and things....I just want it running and making noises now..

The air intakes...oooohhh now....what's it worth?
Use the original rubber hoses. Remove the back tank panel. Remove the filter housings and attach the hoses.
Start off by super gluing the end of some thread to the hose. You will need to start off on the plastic as the hoses don't push completely on.
Work your way down the pipe, applying a smear of superglue, and then wrapping the thread around the pipe as you go.
Work your way up and down the pipe using glue and thread until you have the required thickness.
You will find that the pipes stiffen up and won't go onto the engine cover intakes, so you will need to shave those down to get the pipes back on.
The thread can be painted using water based acrylics in any colour you want, it doesn't matter what colour thread you use.
You will need a LOT of thread, and it takes forever!
Damn! Now everyone will be doing it!

It lives! Got my Elmod board back today, connected up my wiring, plugged in the IR receiver and everything works perfectly. Hallelujah! Praise Be!!
I might even post up a short vid on You Tube to commemorate the event.
Its a neat touch on the IR in test mode, just point a tv remote at it and press any button, and the tank takes the hits until it clanks itself into destruction, and then plays a nice little surrender tune.
(Not that I will be hearing that very often, you understand).
