Changing Transmitter & Receiver

Are there any advantages in changing the standard (comes in the Taigen box) radio gear, to 4 channel Futaba or similar. With an RX18 board already fitted in the tank, would this be an easy thing to do?

Hi Peter,

You can change your tx and rx but unfortinatley will not directly work with the heng long taigen electronics.

People generally change the tx and rx because they upgrade the electronics to some thing like elmod or tamiya.

So in short yes possible but not a straight swap.
