Me too lol thinks it's got to be the tamiya system it seems it's the one every one is Useing to battle with and it can be moded to work with the rx18 but I think I will have to change to the tamiya DMD or the elmod so I can use extra servos the tamiya battle system you can get for about £50 pounds not cheap but once you have got it that's it! The heng long battle systems only compatable with the same system but the tamiya one is compatable with others . You can program how many hits it will take to nock out your tank! So fir a stug it would be 3 hits and for our tigers it would be 9 hits lol! :thumbup:

Yeah agree if for those people interested in club vs club meets the Tamiya route is only option. But no arm in people who already have HL battle system having battles at club meet level.

Other Tamiya compactable systems I know about are David’s battle system and SLU (Sound and light unit) both these are from America & Canada so unfortunately you’ve international post plus import tax on the total!

Doh I was getting excited when I saw the heading of a meeting in the north but I live in Glasgow that is still the south to me.

I see what you mean Stevie your over 200 miles away ! Are you the only one over there who has a tank!!! 8O. Your more than welcome to join use but it would be a 3 hour drive for you!!!!

Are yes Ian I've had a look at dave battle system your rite about the heng long ones I wonder how many allied tanks there will be !! Could end up being one Sherman and a load of tigers out to get it !! Lol ;D

The SLU looks good as well Will have to have a think about the one I am going to get! We will have to see :thumbup:

hi all i have heard from colin and the weekend charges are as follows 5quid per head with a max charge os £60 so the more people the cheaper it will be but if we only get 3 people it only costs 15 quid good eh :thumbup:
he has sent me all the dates they meet and i will post the full email soon [it on another computer]
but i think the best dates are the 1st sunday or the 3rd sunday of the month.
i havent had a reply from wrighty yet so hope to hear soon what do you think?
anyhow im being dragged xmas shopping :thumbdown:

Hi Guys ,Sorry for taking so long to reply ,Have been very busy my mum has been very ill (88 years old)so have been flying around like a headless chicken,I think the 3 rd sunday would be best for me .The scout hut is a very good idea about 30miles for me should take about 40 min to drive.
