what frequency?

what freq do tanks run on? i have an unused futaba six chanel radio, but it is for use with planes. can i change it to have it running the tank? prob a dumb question, but if i dont ask dunb questions, i'll never get a good answer.

Heng Long ones are 27Mhz with 10 options available in that band.

Tamiya ones I think can use any 4 + channels suitable for flying.

As for using your futaba only option I know of for your heng long is to use something called dave battle system which can communicate between the your reciever and rx18.

You will need to buy different frequency crystals, the ones you use for airplanes are illegal for use in ground vehicles...

If your futaba set is a 2.4 you will be just fine. if not as already said. you will need to change your frequency . Or you just might shoot down a plane :shh: .Some poor guy would be pulling left on his stick to bank his plane,only to fine his plane was going the way of your tank :haha:

Aircraft frequencies arent strictly "Illegal" but its just not a done thing and you may get some "flier" hit you with the bits of his six month build lol
