Adjustable Idler

As a Complete Newbie, Can I ask, what does an Idler do?

It adjusts the rear Idler wheel to put the track tension just at the point where you want it . For the best running of those track. i.e not to slack or not too tight.

Recently another member installed the after market Idler system,in reviewing the changes and installation I referenced this post.You may find it of interest and using the search function you may find others as well,cheers
