Very nice tank. Can you show how to make the side antenna please? I did something like it but I think yours is better made. I post later on how I did it.
What will happen if I do this.....

@greentank1 - Remove the brass arial basefrom the back of the tank. Take tab off the bottom and then just attatch the arial wire using the screw . Drill out the side part and pushed the brass arial base into it feeding the wire through.

Now the arial itself- Bend the last 2 or 3 loops of the spring so they are 90 degrees to the rest of the spring then slot it onto the arial base. Then glue over the bent loops to keep it in place. Try to use a thickish glue as a thin glue (like superglue) may creep between the arial and the base which could cause reception problems.
