FreakyDude thanks for expalnation. I sill think that the largest was 152mm proppeled guns JSU-152 and SU-152. This howizers were called Zvieroboy, Animal Killer. Were the largest opponents for Tigers and Panthers on the East Front.
About howiters not discuss?

Funny, ISU-152 from russian NOVO set was be my first tank model, 30 year ago. Scale 1:25.

Howitzers where smoothbore, though, I think, so don't count.

If they where smoothbore, then they don't count, as they are not rifled, if they are rifled, then they may be the winner.

Yeah, I was looking at that, no mention of whether the weapon is smoothbore or rifled though...

I can check on the jagdtiger and sturmtiger...

Sturmtiger utilised a rocket launcher, not a gun, so it doesnt count

Jagdtiger mounted a 128mm pak44 so if the jsu152 is smoothbore then its the next best...

The JSU-152 or ISU-152 was the same tank, mounted a 152mm gun (although some variants were Howitzers which might mean they were not rifled, in addition the barrells were monoblok so although I can not say 100% I am pretty certain these were not rifled barrells)
Now in technical size that is bigger but we need to answer was this barrell rifled? Then on to arguement 2
Lets look at the stats and review effectiveness.
Fire rate 1 to 2 rounds per minute. 3 to 4 on some variants
Effective Penetration in Soviet tests was 105mm at 2000 meters, hardly worth taking to the party especially when there are reports of the Jagtiger knocking out IS series tanks at 4000 meters.

To be truthful the Soviet 152mm ML-20 was probably one of the best artillery pieces of the war and in fact the Germans tried to copy it on several occasions.
I do think this gun/howitzer was a smooth bore though and as such needs to disqualified from the discussion.
A Joke is a very serious thing

Sturmtiger, i agree, eleminated from discussion.
ISU 152 and SU 152 stay sill.

Second example JSU152 was on the chassis JS2 ,SU152 was on the chassis KW. Were discrapency in bulid hull.... Howitzer ML20 were smoothbore.
