the motor I'm Useing has the same shaft size as the pinion on the trex 500 so that's why I thought of Useing the drive gear as well I see now why there's cheap ones and expensive ones on eBay!!if it strips I'll let you know!!

It's a bit late now lol it's on it's way but thanks for the heads up on that! It mite be ok with it only turning very slow !
