Turret rotation motor (found)

Post by Andy in Cheltenham »

Hi

I bought one of these and found that with 6 volts running it the turning speed is pretty good for a turret without any other gearing needed. The whole thing is quite compact too. I'm running mine with an ESC with forward and reverse variable speed.

I'll post a picture soon. I run it directly to the base of the turret and it works a treat.

I'll be Useing the trex heli main gear for the turret ring and then a cog off the motor should be good I'm running straight from the RX18 so I needed to gear it down a bit more! Can't beleve how silent the motor is!!!!!!!
