Below are some photos that may help others determine the installation. The holes are not the same on both sides,but since the adjustable arm is an eccentric lobe mounting the wheel position can be moved into an equal position regardless of the starting position being different.
The kit is poorly designed,and the instruction are very misleading,sorry but I did this over a year ago and even now have taken them apart to change the axles to a better design,they continue to come apart and throw tracks.
What I did not do was take a picture prior to removing the Idler wheel mounts,the outline of these is visible,using them as a guide the hole center to drill can be determined. Sorry this was only my second tank,and my experience was still in the newbie stage.
If I had this to do over it would be a step by step picture process,hopefully this will assist some members,also I have the advantage of a small drill press,this machine has paid for itself many times over,I'v made many parts using it as a power head for tooling and the adjustable head and vice mounting make complex positions possible. If you want to build tanks purchase one of these when possible. It cost about 80.00us.
