New here from the Netherlands

Post by Carnage »

Hello,

My name is Leroy, 28 years old from the Netherlands. Have been driving and building RC tanks in 1/16 scale for about three years now. I used to be a tankdriver in the dutch army, driving a Cheetah ani aircraft tank. After getting out of the army i got in to RC tanks and the addiction began. Have been in to 1/10 rc cars for about 15 years now.

I am a very active member of the club Battle tanks netherlands, the biggest one in our country. We organize frequent battles and meetings, so you can expect loads of pics and vids to be posted ;D Hope to have a good time here and share and gain knowledge with you guys.

Currently own the following tanks.
-Tamiya Sherman
-Tamiya KV2
-Tamiya King Tiger
-Tamiya Jagdpanther

-Henglong Panzer 3
-Henglong Tiger 1
-Henglong Stug 3
-Henglong SIG33 conversion

Thats about it for me.

Hi Carnage,
Welcome to the Forum
Does the Netherlands still have compulsary national Service ??? ..... I think 'yes' which would explain your military service.
You have a very nice collection of tanks there, and as you say hopefully there can be a good exchange of information and tips between us. There is a 'Search' box located in the top right hand corner of the Forums main banner, but any questions or advice that you have then please feel free to post it in a thread and either someone will come along to help you shortly or the advice will be greatefully received.
The Forum is very friendly with a good membership. The Hints and Tips section and also a the Camouflage section hopefully may be of use to you.
Again welcome to the Forum and hopefully we can see some photos of your tanks !

Thanks for the welcome guys.

@ Dietrich: To answer your question, i went completely voluntary. Compulsary service has been stopped in 1997 in the netherlands.
