Smoking recoiling barrel

Hi,can any one give me some advice on wether its possable to have a smoking recoiling gun barrel on a heng long tank,ideally i would like to have a recoiling barrel with a led flash and smoke i dont do bb so thats going to be coming out any way also which model would this be best suited to please ie tiger or panzer 3 thanks,Lyndon.

The simply answer is yes, the complex question is how. If you search you tube there is a few videos on there where it is done.

The recoil and flash are simply as Heng Long makes the parts so simply to fit. The smoke isn’t so you’ll have to either use your exhaust smoker or add an extra one then pipe to the recoil. But I would say the smoke output from the smoker (even modified ones) is only suitable for indoor use, as outside it gets diluted in all the air so you don’t really see it.

Tiger or Panzer 3? Tiger is bigger so more available internal space.

Hi thanks Tankbear,ive found a few videos and info on the smoking barrel but it looks a bit complicated so might have to put this one on hold for a bit but its definatly something im going to be doing in the future,theres one ive seen by a member on here that is awesome but i think a bit more research is needed,Lyndon.

Schuey, yeah agree smoking gun is quite invloved. :haha:

He's also done a lot of work on modifying the standard smoker, which I've followed and built simular and highly recommend it. Most of the bits can be bought off ebay for less than a new smoke unit so great to try if you have a broken smoker.
