Made first tank film (RC models)

Post by mikesndbs »

Hi guys

Was not sure if to post this here or in the movie board but as this is more to do with my future plans I went here ;)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9m9-3US4wnA

I recently made this film with all three of my tanks included as above.
In the past I have just done review box opening type films.
You can find them here:

My current one was an attempt to tell a bit of a story, show off the tanks and make you :haha: as much as possible along the way.
Think I bit off a little too much as I had to learn a lot about green screen work and I am not 100% about how that came out.

What I'd like to ask here is for your comments and suggestions about the film and even more importantly what I might try for next using the tanks of course.

Feel free to post your suggestions to the youtube video or here.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Cheers

Mike

I enjoyed your video, the alien invasion was pretty cool, and the disclaimer too as if not some dumb ass would burn down the forest. Well done Mike. This was your Taigen tank right? Did you feel like it worked better or more like armor compared to the other tank?

Hi, thanks :-) the Taigen works really nice, being able to drive at variable speed is great and due to being very heavy it runs nice too! still like the HL Pershing but don't think I would buy at that level again.

What type of gearbox does the Tiger have? I.E. BRASS,STEEL, 3to1 or 4to1? and motor size possibly?

Were choices given prior to purchase or is the Tank sold with a common package? Thanks for the information as this is a relatively new product their is interest, your un packaging video was excellent as well.

Hi sorry for the terrible late reply, lots of life events occurred shortly after and I have only just got back to level ground.
The metal upgrades were indeed an option.
