I know what you mean and my RX18 is the same so should work.Herr Fritz wrote:On using the Diode on the 18.....my board does not look quite like the one in the video....my 18 has a third smaller board that is soldered horizontally like an roof over what seems to be the motor control circuits.
I would suggest checking the obvious things like wiring, connections, soldering, battery voltage.Herr Fritz wrote:Thanks!
RATZ!!!!!!
I thought it was cuz I did not have a fully charged battery but this morning after charging my batt for 4.0 hrs anything 'MOTOR' driven would not run .....well at least the smoke unit and the drive motors....the L motor turns but not at full speed....only when in TURN mode....the R Motor wants to but has to be coaxed.
I put a straight 6.0 DC V to the smoke unit und it ran just fine.
Has anyone else seen this in a RX-18?
I found with mine one of the motor plugs comes loose so the tracks turn when lifted off the ground but wouldn't when on the ground and the plug looked solid.
