June 28-July 26 1941 German Advance and World events

After Barbarossa operation began the month of July saw rapid German Advances on a wide front in Russia. A few significant events and dates.

June 28th 1941 Germans Capture Minsk

July 3rd 1941 Stalin in the wake of the rapid German advance calls for a SCORCHED EARTH POLICY,attempting to slow the advance through depriving the Germans of any natural or industrial resources.

July 10th 1941 Germans cross the DNIEPER RIVER in the Ukraine isolating much or that region.

July 12th the first steps in the alliance as British and Soviets begin the Mutual Assistance Agreement,this will begin a constant struggle for the allocation of resources between the two nations.

July 14th 1941 British forces occupy Syria and insure control of the Arab region of that nation.

July 26th 1941 Roosevelt freezes Japanese assets in the USA and suspends relations. This mainly due to their aggression in China.
