Guys, for those who are interested in building the type 87 Beetle, http://www.emodels.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; have some in stock for £33. It isn't R/C and has little chance of being but it makes a nice change to building hulking great armour, is relevant and looks good as a stationary prop alongside any tank.

I have one as a DAK vehicle and just ordered another to convert to an ambulance. My original kit was a 60's edition in it original box and took a loooong search on the web for one of a reasonable price. It looks by the boxwork as if Revell have re issued it but I can't confirm until it arrives. It's an early 1950's version of the car so easily converted to war spec. I used a soft cover book "VW BEETLE AT WAR" by Dr Hans-Georg Mayer as a reference.
