Curious about this Tank Bag, the video mentions the inner box is not included? So is this design to fit specific tanks factory boxes? How about the cost could you post that or a direct link to the IMPACT site for purchase? One of the things about the Waltersons Offer I did like was the Tank Bag, easy to carry and hands free.

Please post so more information? Thanks Saxondog

Hi,

Some time ago one of my local DIY stores had a special offer on Stanley Fat Max toolboxes so I bought 4 of them. Once you have thrown the inner tray away they are ideal for 1/16 tanks though I have to turn the turret to the rear on my T55.
They are waterproof, strong enough to sit on and can be stacked for storage. Upholstery foam prevents the model moving around inside the box.
Internal size is 48cm x 25cm x 25 tall. Not sure if this is big enough for a Leo2 or a KT, but fit the T55, Gepard, Sherman (with long barrel)
and T34 perfectly.

I got a Ryobi tool box from B&Q for a tenner. I use the bottom part of the polystyrene insert from the original Heng Long box my bulldog came in, and the very same upholstery foam for the sides and lid. Safe as houses!

Could you guys maybe post a photo or two? And the box id number so we can try and locate them on different continents.I like the idea of the hands free ability the shoulder bag offers. But the Bag offered here does not have a inner box, they do state the boxes that will fit?

But the tool box idea seems more DURABLE,and maybe I could locate the type you guys refer to and modify it to meet my preferences as could other members, we all need a safe and easy way to transport.

My 1/6 scale Tiger was damaged the first trip in my truck, the topper prevented the wind issue, but not locking the gun barrel down caused it to shatter the muzzle brake as I went over a speed bump to fast, even the 1/16 scale tanks take a beating in the truck if I'm not careful.

I'm sure Similar issues effect us all, perhaps by sharing the experiences we can develop a solution for everyone?
