help kaput kv

Help my KV is kaput.

Since trying to fix my smoker I think I've damaged my KV.
Now its struggling for power.
The lights dims when i move anything from turret to the tank itself.
It starts up with engine noise but his then stops and then I can't turn the tank off.

i'VE CHECKED BATTERIES - FULL - AND CRYTALS ALL ok

Anybody got any ideas. I hope i haven't damaged the RX18 board.

Did you short the smoker out while trying to fix it ?..It doesn't sound good if all was working before..Unless one of the connections has worked itself loose. Have you got another rx18 board you can try in it.

all connectios look good. I wonder if i did short out when looking at smoker? Fix or e-bay hmmm

From what I've read regarding the smoker your more likely blow a transistor on the rx18 board than fry it all.

If the pop the cover off the rx18 both front and back and look for visable damage or discolouration if ok double check connectors. As the HL tanks are known for bad wiring.

thank tankbear - ordered new rx18, and smoke unit. will try that first
