Is this a good kit for someone like me who's new to airbrushing?

Or maybe this, it's good to have an air tank right?

looks like a good kit to and the price is very reasonable, i paid more for just my airbrush so I would say buy it.
Having a tank is a good investment as it gives in my opinion smoother air flow and hooked up properly it can be a bit drier.
I would say for a begginer that would be a good investment.

I will second that. Even if you decide that you needs a different brush in the end, that type of compressor alone makes it worth the price.

I rather wish I could find something like that for that sort of money locally....

I've just got the same compressor/tank and it's a huge improvement on just using the compressor alone.

I prefer gravity fed airbrushes and just got one of these-

The seller also sells the compressor/tanks as well and I got both for £85(+free delivery) but you'd have to buy a sepearte hose.

Once you get your hand in with the airbrush, and thinking of getting a better one. Make sure you get a brand make gun, like badger or iwata etc. Don't go down the road of cheap grey import look alikes as they do not perform the same as the real thing. Aslo parts will be not very forth coming for them.

I do a lot of airbrushing and love my Iwata's but getting a gun is very much a personal choice.

I bought one of those off ebay and it only lasted 2 months before burning out. If you can afford it go for this. ( Fantastic compressor ) here is the link to the test http://www.scalemodellingnow.com/hereno ... -smart-jet" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I have two IWATA Air Brushes the Evolution and the Hp plus, after my comp went down I decided to get the above iwata comp. Top quality. I might get slated for this but at the end of the day you only get what you pay for. I have went the budget route and was very dissapointed. Thats not to say it not Ok for others.
Good luck.
