Re: Is this a Wiki error?
Hi Andy,
I have searched underthe 'Academy' name and the largest scale model that I can find is 1/25th, so it is probably an error. What people do not realise is that Wiki can be edited by the public at large, this means that the information can and often is wrong. As an example my wife completed a university course which involved essays and reporst. If Wiki was quoted as a reference then the paper was automatically dismissed and you got a ZERO for that section of the course
!
I have also heard that some time ago an American political representative had to hire a staff member to constantly change the entry on him to the 'correct' version. He obviously had at least one enemy who was constatntly changing the entry on him in a variety of hateful ways....drug offences, assorted criminal charges and I think stuff concerning children. I have no idea if this is true, or if Wiki can block changes......but recently I looked someting up and suddenly in the middle of a sentence was an entry that ' Sarah ( some surname I cannot remember) is a 'See you next Tuesday' which was odd, and in a way funny. So basically Wiki can often be wrong , however in fairness it can also be right !

Re: Is this a Wiki error?
Hi
Wiki can block people. I'm blocked here at my work PC because I went through a few entries for a laugh and put (under drill bits) "drill bits are not normally made of chocolate". I did the same for a few more entries saying " not normally made of chocolate. It was just a laugh and we had a giggle about it (you had to be there
). Suffice to say I was accused of vandalism and my PC was blocked from editting ever again....until I geta new one or I'm at home
