heng long tiger 1 turret only turns one way

i just bought a heng long tiger1 smoke and sound metal pro version from matomart.com, after spending like 3 hrs to put on the metal treads ( gimme a break its my first tank) i plugged in the battery. it all works great, but when you tell the turret to turn right it stutters and sometimes dosent move. i find myself playing around with the joystick for a relatively long time to make a "full" right rotation of the turret. im new to tanks but im pretty good at RC cars, and small circuit boards. any ideas? also which is the smoke unit on or off, a,b or c ?

ok so if you look under your tiger tank you should have a red swicth thats the smoke one if that is not there and the little round white volume one as well and you turn your tank on and there is no sound then you have an ABC tank non smoke and sound i say this as you have said that there is ABC on your tank
for the turret turn try another transmitter its somtimes that look in the right conner of the transmitter and you should see a black crystal that will pull out and fit it in to another smoke and sound transmitter and test

Hi drw814.

Like Dave says red switch under tank for smoke unit ignore the abc positions that's refers to an older version which changed frequencies. Plus smoke unit only comes on when the tank comes out of standby mode (headlights on constant).

Turret turn probably wiring as mine does same. But use same controller on another tank and all is fine. Plus when I first got mine for some reason the main gun elevation would stop working, take to bits and work ok put tank back together still worked then randomly stop. Never got to bottom of it but turret turn still happens but not as much and elevation appears to ok now.
