I was fortunate - and surprised to aquire a low milage , one carefull owner, Tamiya Panther G recently .....

So here are a few photos of her - name as yet undecided, fresh from her packing crate.
Its a part built model - Basic lower hull , running gear fitted and finnished already - not messed around with at all and not even run off the workbench ...
So lets all have a look over her and I will post a few comments , witterings on them ....

First off - the running wheels have all been built and finnished to a high standard....I might well replace /rebuild with better bearings than the stock ones though...

Luckily the previous owner stopped at fitting the exhausts during the lower hull assembly ..

Inside I have the full - er full option set up with .......

Those low milage gearboxes all greased up and ready to go !!
Standard Tamiya gearbox mounts will be replaced with metal ones to improve the lower hull fit ..

I will replace the naff Tamiya band aid sticky on lower hull front as well..

Moving to the upper deck now......

A bit of work has taken place on the upper deck, the turret rollers are in place .....

I was lucky that the previous builder had added the metal grills to the engine decks....

Athough mice seem to have been an issue - still I have a soloution to hand ......

I intend to move the gun cleaning tube to the rear of the engine deck ....

And will replace the aerial mount as well...

The turret is completly untouched - I feel a mantlet change coming on though ....

Unfortunatly I have all the screws and fitments dumped into one box - no A,B,C,D,E bags to work with here ....

I even found a transmitter hiding inside as well..

So all in all I am very pleased with the latest addition to the Panzerwerks ..although I feel a touch of Disastor is needed here
Although it has created a large dent in the current funds - at least I have a pot to ......

I will start this build after I have completed Tiger Ebbey ..it will also give me a bit of time to consider upgrades, options and exactly what Panther to build - I already have a plan for a different camo scheme as well.....
So bye for the mo ... any tips or hints please feel free to post them !!
